Thank you so much for the work you did with Daisy, the Belgian horse I rescued. No other trainer would take her on, they all said she was too dangerous. Everyone that came onto my property told me I was foolish and irresponsible for not having Daisy put down because she was so aggressive. You were the only trainers who took a look at her and said "yes, we can help her".
Daisy is no longer chasing people out of the paddock, she is friendly to those who come to see her and we no longer need to tranquilize her to have her feet done. The ferrier can now trim her feet and not worry about his safety.
I recommend you as trainers to everyone, you do a great job, thank you!
Sincerely, Ursula Hart Haven of the Heart Animal Rescue Palgrave, ON |

Hello Walter ; Thank you very much for the nice pictures of Calypso.
She is obviously progressing very well, a beautiful trot with her ears forward, and looking very content and happy to do some work.
It is simply amazing that you achieved this in two months, nobody could even get near her before that. This was the best Christmas gift ! Happy New Year !

Walt, thanks for all your help with Kita, I got a great lesson, and I'm just chomping at the bit (rolling at the spurs?) to get to it. It's good to have exercises to do that will work on all of his weaker points, and bring out his good points. I really appreciate having people to turn to that are interested in doing something properly and best for the horse, instead of just tricking him out for the show ring, but not addressing any real improvements.

Thanks to you both Walter & Gis for a wonderful weekend! I finally have a good starting point into Elektra's thoughts and behaviour.
She settled back in on Sunday night, I gave her about 20 minutes to herself after we got back to our barn. Went into her stall applied the techniques from the weekend, put her on the crossties and groomed her quietly and put her back to rest in her stall, where she was calmer than when she first got back to the barn.
Monday, I went to just spend time with her and groomed her, called her on only one thing and when she knew I was speaking her language, she complied. She was nice and quiet in the crossties and enjoyed her grooming.
You have definitely made a difference in the way the both of us co-habitate with each other and it is less stressful for both of us to communicate to each other now.
I can't thank you enough, and I am looking forward to learning more at the next clinic.

Daisy is available for adoption. Gisela has started her under saddle & has long lined her extensively. She is a very sweet mare that deserves a good home. Contact Ursula Hart if you are interested. 905-936-3055 |
